SIGnet launches new investor group in York
SIGnet, the national network of individual investor groups, is excited to announce the launch of a new in person group in York.
The group will meet during the day, once a month. The group’s convener will be Kieran Stokes, who has been a member of SIGnet Leeds Originals for a few years. He lives in York and is keen to have a group closer to home.
Kieran’s investing style is predominantly long term, with a focus on undervalued, solid dividend paying companies. He has a particular interest in property, as he has experience in this field. Generally, he likes to invest in businesses that he can understand.
The main goal of the group will be to improve members’ knowledge and investment decision making processes through free discussion and mutual education.
You are invited to an initial online launch meeting to hear more about the group, meet other investors, and confirm the details of future group meetings. The launch meeting will be held on Zoom at 2pm on Monday, 19th October 2026 and is expected to last approximately 60 minutes. It is open to anyone with an interest in the new group, but you will need to be a member of SIGnet to attend subsequent meetings. Click here for further details and to register your attendance.
SIGnet groups are for discussion about shares and investing. SIGnet groups offer an opportunity to meet, socialise with and learn from fellow investors. They are run by their members for their members’ mutual exchange of knowledge and enjoyment.
