- HarbourVest Global Private Equity Limited (HVPE): is a London listed, FTSE 250 private equity investment company with assets of $1.6 billion (at 30 November 2017) and a market capitalisation of approximately £1.0 billion. HVPE invests in private companies and portfolios of private companies through funds managed by HarbourVest Partners, an innovative global private markets asset manager with more than 35 years of experience.
- Malvern International (MLVN): is a global learning and skills development partner preparing learners to meet the demands of a professional life.
These events consist of a 25 minute presentation by each company followed by 15 minutes of questions and answers. Companies presenting are interesting growth companies of small/medium cap size. Refreshments and a buffet are provided free of charge to Full ShareSoc Members but there is a charge for others and you get the opportunity to talk directly to the directors of the presenting companies. This is also a great opportunity to socialise with your fellow investors and discuss these and other investment opportunities. These seminars are open to anyone with an interest in stock market investing.
Stockopedia will provide facts and figures on the presenting companies for attendees (don’t forget that ShareSoc subscribing members can get a special discount on Stockopedia subscription rates – see Member Offers ). Event registration opens at 5.00 pm and presentations commence at 5.30 pm. Please do not arrive before 5.00pm, for security reasons you will not be admitted to the building before that time.
