Company Information: GSK, formerly GlaxoSmithKline, is a global healthcare company that has undergone some significant changes under new leadership over the last 2 years creating a group with 2 leading companies: A world leading Consumer Healthcare company; and a global Pharmaceutical & Vaccines company.

Presenters’ Name and  Job Title: Sarah Elton-Farr, Head of IR
Sarah Elton-Farr joined GSK as Global Head of Investor Relations in January 2017. In this role, she leads the engagement with institutional investors and supports the Corporate Executive Team in their messaging to the financial markets.

Prior to this Sarah was previously at Shire, where she was VP, Global Head of Investor Relations.  She has worked as a sell-side pharmaceutical analyst and as freelance industry analyst.

Agenda:

  • Presentation with Q&A followed by wine and canapes.The company presentation will cover a brief history of the group, its current shape and changes since Emma Walmsley became CEO in 2017. There will then be an overview of the Pharmaceutical & Vaccines business looking at the challenges and the opportunities going forward. This will be followed by an overview of the Consumer Healthcare business looking at the new JV with Pfizer and the strategy to build power brands through innovation.The presentation will finish with the latest financial performance, guidance and dividend prospects.
