It is this weekend – ShareSoc will be at the UK’s biggest shares show UK Investor on April 21 – will you? Free tickets on offer

This Saturday 21st April ShareSoc will be mixing with more than 3,000 serious investors at the UK Investor Show. And we have some of the last available tickets to hand out today, for free, to ShareSoc members

Sharesoc will be organising one of 133 stands at the country’s largest one day event for those interested in shares. The other stands will be manned by AIM and Standard List companies and the CEOs of most of them will also be doing 20 minute presentations.

But that is not the real attraction of the Global Group UK Investor Show at the QE2 Centre in London.

What marks this show out are the big name speakers on the main stage most of who just do not appear at any other event and who really are masters of making money from shares.

The day starts with Britain’s Buffett, Nigel Wray – whose family owns the event – in conversation with blogger Paul Scott. There is the enfant terrible of property Nick Leslau, Pizza Express restaurant king and Sunday Times columnist Luke Johhson and Ed Croft of Stockopedia. And that is just the morning session!

The afternoon kicks off with the woman dubbed the Queen of tech Vin Murria, includes investigative journalist Tom Winnifrith promising to expose Neil Woodford and ends with the UK’s top performing fund manager of the past decade, Mark Slater.

You may hate bear raiders – Nigel Wray is on record as condemning them as being pointless. But they can expose frauds and so should not be ignored. Two of the UK’s best known bears, Lucian Miers and Matt Earl of IQE infamy will also be presenting their latest shorting ideas.

ShareSoc members can get a free investor class ticket ( RRP £12) for the show which is now 99% sold out – we have 20 of the last tickets going to hand out today to blog readers. Simply go to www.ukinvestorshow.com/tickets and use the promotional code SSOCUK when ordering. Order today and the tickets will be posted tonight.

We look forward to seeing you all at the ShareSoc stand on April 21.
