As the leading organisation representing individual investors, ShareSoc is called upon by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), to assist with their research on investor requirements. The FRC is the official body tasked with supervising the accounting profession in the UK, setting accounting standards and codes of practice for corporate governance.

Grenfell: Lessons for the Investment Community

The Grenfell Tower disaster shocked and saddened the whole of the UK. It leaves questions about how such a tragic series of failings, which led to the disaster, were allowed to happen. It is to be hoped that the forthcoming public enquiry will shed some light on this.
