The group discusses the application of technical analysis across all timeframes from long term holdings to short term trades. The aim is to evaluate many of the wide range of techniques, setups and entry/exit signals, using price, pattern and indicators.
A typical meeting agenda includes brief reference to the environment through long term charts, member presentations, review of existing and prospective positions and requests for study of specific technical analysis techniques.
Some members provide detailed information on their activity. The Convener keeps a comprehensive ledger with the aim of assessing performance of the various techniques employed. The ledger comprises 300 trades in the eighteen months January 2024 to June 2025.
Members at all levels of experience are welcome to learn and to contribute.
