Skillcast Group PLC

Speaker 1: Vivek Dodd, Chief Executive Officer

Bio: Vivek co-founded Skillcast in 2021. He has been creating regulatory courses and compliance tools for over two decades. Before Skillcast, he worked as an investment banker at JP Morgan and as a finance and compliance trainer. He has a Master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and has been a CFA Charterholder.

Speaker 2: Richard Steele, Chief Financial Officer

Bio: Richard joined Skillcast in May 2022 following the IPO. He has worked in senior finance roles at private companies until bringing Mind Gym Plc to the AIM market in 2018 where he was CFO for 4 years before joining Skillcast.

Company Description: Skillcast helps businesses create ethical, resilient workplaces and make compliance simple. For over 20 years, Skillcast has supported companies in transforming workplace culture through e-learning, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools, and a cloud-based SaaS platform. This platform integrates learning content, activity tracking, policy management, and compliance submissions, enabling firms to meet complex regulatory obligations efficiently and reduce compliance risks. All technology and content are developed in-house, allowing for customizable solutions. Skillcast serves over 1,400 clients including FTSE 100 companies and global financial institutions mainly in regulated sectors like financial services and insurance, both in the UK and internationally. The company’s annual revenue is approximately £14 million, growing at over 20% per year, with 83% from core SaaS products and a CAGR 25% year-on-year increase in Annual Recurring Revenue in its first three years following its AIM IPO in December 2021.

Kenmare Resources PLC

Speaker: Tom Hickey, Managing Director

Bio: Tom Hickey joined Kenmare in September 2022 as Finance Director and he was appointed as Managing Director in August 2024. He has 24 years’ experience as a Director of various public companies. This includes eight years as Chief Financial Officer of the African and South American-focused oil and gas producer Tullow Oil plc from 2000 to 2008. Tom also held senior financial roles with the oil and gas exploration company Petroceltic International plc between 2010 and 2016, including latterly as Chief Financial Officer. Tom has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Diploma in Professional Accounting, both from University College Dublin, and he is a Fellow of the Irish Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Company Description: Kenmare Resources plc is one of the world’s largest producers of titanium minerals. Listed on the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Dublin, Kenmare operates the Moma Titanium Minerals Mine in Mozambique. Moma’s production accounts for approximately 6% of global titanium feedstocks and the Company supplies to customers operating in more than 15 countries. With an 18 year production history, Kenmare produces raw materials that are ultimately consumed in everyday quality-of life items such as paints, plastics and ceramic tiles. The Company established a dividend policy in 2018 and since 2019, it has returned approximately $295 million to shareholders through dividends and share buy-backs.

Time Finance PLC

Speaker 1: Ed Rimmer, Chief Executive Officer

Bio: Ed has worked within commercial finance for over 30 years holding many senior roles, including UK CEO of Bibby Financial Services. Ed has been involved with Time since 2017 having previously been Managing Director of the Invoice Finance Division and Group COO. Ed became Group CEO in June 2021.

Speaker 2: James Roberts, Chief Financial Officer

Bio: James qualified as an accountant with PwC and has worked in financial services for over 25 years. He has held leadership positions with several AIM listed companies and has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions within fast-paced, growing businesses. James joined Time Finance as its CFO in May 2017.

Company Description: Time Finance, a non-bank alternative finance provider helps UK businesses thrive and survive through the provision of flexible funding facilities. Offering a multi-product range of funding solutions for UK SMEs, Time primarily concentrates on Asset Finance, Invoice Finance or a combination of the two through its Asset- ased Lending solution. While focussed on being an ‘own-book’ lender, the Group does retain the ability to ‘broke-on’ deals when felt to be more appropriate, enabling it to optimize business levels through market and economic cycles. The business has enjoyed four years of strategic delivery since 2021. The period has seen it’s lending book grow from £113m to over £220m; Revenue from £24m to £37m, PBT from £2m to £8m, and Net Tangible Assets from £29m to over £44m. At the same time arrears have fallen from 12% to 5% and secured lending has moved from 52% to 85% of the total lending book.

Ramsdens Holdings PLC

Speaker 1: Peter Kenyon, CEO

Bio: Peter joined Ramsdens in November 2001 as Operations Director and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2008. Peter led the MBO in 2014 and IPO in 2017. Peter has been responsible for over 30 acquisitions for the Group. He is responsible for overseeing all operations of the business and for deciding the Group’s strategy. Peter’s early career was with Yorkshire Bank for 17 years.

Speaker 2: Martin Clyburn, CFO

Bio: Martin joined Ramsdens in 2009 and is a Chartered Accountant having previously qualified with respected North East firm, Keith Robinson & Co. Martin joined the board of the Company as Chief Financial Officer in August 2016. Martin is responsible for the Finance, IT and Compliance & Risk functions within the Group. Martin also lectured part time at the University of Teesside from 2006 – 2012.
