Peter Higgins – Lord Lee – Leon Boros – Phil Oakley- Graham Neary
We have an incredible, all-star panel for our next MasterClass, which will take place at the Mello 2018 private investor event (www.mello2018.com) at the Derby Conference Centre, on Friday 27th April.
Our Investor Masterclasses are intended for investors with all levels of experience. A panel of expert investors discusses topics of general interest to our audience. Topics will be covered both at a basic level for the beginner, and in depth for the more experienced investor. There will also be an opportunity for you to quiz the panel and share your own views. No matter what your level of expertise, we’re sure you’ll find something of interest and value from the discussion with our panel. One of the joys of investing is that it is a constant learning process, and this is a great opportunity for you to hone your skills.
The MasterClass will run from 15.30 to 17.30 with a first-class panel including Lord Lee (ISA millionaire and author of “How To Make A Million Slowly”, Leon Boros (ISA millionaire) , Phil Oakley (Sharescope) and Graham Neary (Stockopedia) looking at risk and red flags in investing (see more in depth profiles of the panellists below).
Leon Boros will start the first half of the session with a presentation on Risk in general terms.
The panellists will then talk about their general approach to market risk, and the implications for how they structure their portfolio.
In the second half of the session, we will move on to look at assessing individual shares for danger signs. Phil Oakley will give a presentation on the red flags to look out for, with other panellists contributing their insights on the danger signs of which they are wary.
There will be an opportunity for you to pose questions and make your own comments, including a closing general Q&A.
