New Year Angel Competition

In light of the popularity of our Fat Santa and Scrooge competitions at Christmas time, we thought we would redress the balance and celebrate the beginning of a whole new year by offering our readers the opportunity to propose a more positive award for the company that you believe has done most to treat its individual shareholders as true owners of the business and partners in its success in the past 12 months. Maybe the business you have in mind has been excellent at responding to your enquiries, maybe they have issued really useful RNSs including trading updates that inform rather than confuse or maybe they have been candid where others have obfuscated and dissembled.
These are just some of the many possible reasons why a company might win.

ShareSoc members can enter this competition by emailing
nominations to info@sharesoc.org by January 31st, putting forward their nomination along with up to 100 words on why their candidate should be the winner. Please put “New Year Competition” in the subject line of your emails. Entries will be judged by a panel of ShareSoc Directors, and the winner announced in February. There will be a small prize for the winning contributors, and also for the winning company. So get your nominating
pencils ready…

Best of luck to the contestants!
